My Hair's Life Story?

Saturday, September 13, 2014

Happy Saturday, everyone! The sun was shining all day long and it was a great day. I started my morning off by staying in bed longer then I needed to and then went for a walk along the water. It's starting to feel more and more like Fall and if you're anything like me, then that excites you!

I am currently taking on the dreaded task of growing my bangs out. I haven't been without bangs since I was probably in grade 9, which would have been almost 11 years ago. I'm frightened. I've tried to do this before and I always get way to annoyed and cut them myself. Usually once they hit my cheekbone. I just have to keep my eye on the prize this time. Once I get my hair cut again, the distance from my bangs to the length of my hair won't be so drastic and time consuming. I am usually all about long hair but for some reason lately I'm all about the short hair. This length is starting to feel too long and I can't wait to get in to see the hair dresser so she can work some magic and make it short again! But not too short. Don't be crazy.

Don't ask about the packing tape and the bucket of water. OK... I'll just tell you. Apparently the deck doubles as a work space. I had no intentions of moving the rain filled bucket but somehow I missed the packing tape.

  1. Would you agree that hair is a security blanket for women?

    1. In my own personal experience I would definitely agree with you. I'm sure it's not like that for all woman but I do think a lot of women hold on to their hair for security purposes. My thought now is that it's just hair and it will grow back :)
