Away from home.

This Thanksgiving was the first Thanksgiving that I spent away from my family and it was not easy. I spent all day yesterday ripping apart my house trying to keep myself busy. That will hopefully never happen again. On a positive note: I got to spend Thanksgiving with my girl, Ceili and for that, of course I am more then thankful.

Funny story: *Cue Sarcasm* Ceili threw-up all over the dinner table. She told me she didn`t want to eat her mashed potatoes and brown sugar glazed carrots. I told her we were not going to go to the park until she finished her supper. The tears started to roll. Finally, I got her calmed down. She informed me she wasn`t hungry anymore. Again, I told her she had to finish her supper. 5 seconds later, she burps uncontrollably mid-sentence and then 1 second later she vomits all over the table. She laughs about it now but she certainly was not laughing right after it happened, lol.

Today was the most beautiful Fall day to date. You hardly needed a jacket. It felt so good to spend the better half of the afternoon outside by the water. Lucky for us, there is a yacht club literally 4 minutes from our driveway. It always has a beautiful view... Obviously. Water, sunshine and boats. You`re pretty much always guaranteed a good view!

Today`s outfit was simple and comfortable. That seems to be my M.O. Leggings, boots, a nice flowy shirt and a blazer. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. Also, you may have noticed that my hair is shorter than it was for my last blog post. This is now the shortest I have ever had my hair in 17 years I would say. I`m trying to think back to my last mushroom cut. I think I was 9. Yeah... I said it. Mushroom cut. #gross. It was not by  choice I should point out.
