Kicking it casual Sunday.
Sunday, August 31, 2014
When Sunday's roll around I always tell myself that I'm going to dress up and make myself look semi-human... and then it never happens. I usually stay in my lulu's and lounge around the house being the most amount of lazy I can possibly be. (Hello, that's what Sunday's are for aren't they?)
I met myself somewhere in the middle today. I kept it casual but left the yoga pants home. As far as make-up went, there wasn't a stitch on my face. Is this a #nomakeupselfie?
I love this maroon bodycon dress for two reasons: the colour and the amount of comfortable it is. Maroon is a colour I can't get enough of. It looks good on every skin tone and has a way of making everything pop! To make the outfit more visually interesting I added my favorite scarf. Yes, it's August and yes, I am wearing a scarf. I couldn't be more ready for Fall to arrive. Fall fashion in my opinion is the best of all four seasons. For shoes I decided to go for comfort and threw on my grey and yellow boat shoes, my hair... let's not even talk about it.
Are you ready for fall to arrive?

I think this is the perfect lazy Sunday outfit. One of my goals this year is to look more acceptable at home-whether that means splurging on a sweet pair of sweats or actually putting on real pants. I love the idea of an easy stretchy body con dress. It looks put together, but remains comfortable! You look amazing!

Thank you, Zoe :) I feel the same way about the way I dress at home. I'm always lounging so I am trying to put more effort into what I wear when I'm home as people do come over and I will run a few errands in that same, comfortable attire. I definitely think there is truth to the saying "if you look good, you feel good".
DeleteAlso, I love your most recent post. Those Hunter rain boots are killer in green!
