I should first off apologize for my lack of posts this last week. Lucky me, got sick with the wonderful flu/cold that everybody and their dog seems to have right now(Lamesauce). I think I'm over the worst part of it right now but I still don't feel 100%. I don't think the color under my nose will ever go back to normal from over blowing it. #thatswhatshesaid

Some exciting news though; I got a new camera! Wooooooh! It's a Canon t3i. One step up from the camera I previously had. A few minor upgrades on it so it should hopefully make taking DSLR selfies a little bit less tacky. (If that's possible?)

Back to business!

This outfit I love. There are many reasons why I love this outfit; first and foremost, I look like an orange creamsicle and honestly, who doesn't love those things? The sheer button down top & white boyfriend jeans are just to comfortable to even comprehend. Button down shirts can be worn so many different ways; you can layer them, dress them up or wear them casual. The studded loafers add some pzazz to the outfit. The loafers are honestly one of my favorite pairs of shoes which I'm sure you will be seeing lot's of over the summer if you're frequently checking my blog. Not only are they comfortable but they are freaking awesome. Ya can't go wrong with them as far as I'm concerned. 

I'm standing with my leg awkwardly like this for a reason; I went for coffee before I took these pictures and you'll never guess what made it's way onto my favorite white jeans? 

I love doubling up necklaces. It's one of my favorite ways to wear them.

The idea for this post came to me late on Saturday night. (I have no life. Seriously) As some of you know(if you know me personally) I plan on attending school to take Interior Decorating in the Fall and I can't wait. It's something I had considered quite a while ago but the area I was living in at the time wouldn't have really started me off with the career I'm looking for and there wouldn't have been much room to grow or even start your own business. I put that idea on the back burner for quite a while now and I'm so excited that I've decided to go for it.

Here are some of my favorite things I have in my house: 

I love zebra print. You will find subtly in almost every room with the exception of my bathroom which has some pretty bold print in there. 

Usually every Sunday morning, Alex, Ceili & I scoot out the door and into the car to get sweet, sweet coffee & apple juice(for Ceili). This particular Sunday, I decided to pop into Winners. As I was quickly browsing the isles, I found this lovely black maxi skirt; I am in love. It was a steal of a deal too; only $19.99. It's great to just throw on and kick it casual - which is exactly what I did!

Alex says my bun makes me look "uptight", lol. I hate to say this but, I think he might be right. I was happy, I swear! Those sunglasses btw, are my new favorite!  (Photo by Alex)

Quill Eyeliner $13.99

The eyeliners are newish to their inventory. I believe they've been around for about a year. I'm not going to lie, I didn't buy them at first because I didn't think they'd be that good. I'm very particular about the brand of eyeliner I use. I don't want to look like an 80's throwback! I was wrong. I'm so glad I ordered it. The brush is amazing! A-maz-ing. When applying it, make sure you allow it time to dry. It doesn't dry very quickly so don't make the mistake I did and try to curl your lashes a few seconds after you've applied it. Like all of their other products; fabulous.
